Dear Clark,

Holly is a founder and co owner of the studio.  She is from New Boston, Texas and was born under the Scorpio sign.  She loves southern rock, jazz and blues. Her nicknames include: Holls, High Definition, and H to the D.

When she’s not at the studio, Holly loves to travel, engage in outdoor adventure sports, and practice yoga. She is passionate about all types of art and considers hair styling to be her artistic outlet.

Ever since she could remember, she has wanted to be a hairstylist.  It was a passion even when she was a child, hiding under the beds of her siblings to cut their hair in their sleep and doing make overs on her neighborhood friends. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin University in 1995, Holly decided to attend the  Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy. Upon completion  in 1996 she went on to continue her education with the company. She became a Staff Trainer,  International Artistic Director, and Manager of several Dallas locations. Holly played an essential role in upholding the integrity of the T&G education path for their staff.

In 2005 Holly left Toni and Guy to explore her other passion product development. The Italian company Kemon snatched her up and sent her to Rome and Venice where she spent the better part of 2 years developing haircare products as well as a professional color line.

Besides Toni and Guy, Holly is also certified under Vidal Sassoon (2006), Kevin Murphy (2008), Brazilian Blowout (2010), DevaCurl (2011), and most recently completing Sharon Blain’s Long Hair Boot Camp. You can catch her work in local publications like FD Luxe and spearheading the make overs for Kim Dawson’s annual model search. BTW….we credit Holly with bringing the “hair feather extension craze” to Dallas!

Holly specializes in various styles and believes she has a true eye for face shapes and hair textures. She enjoys working with all hair types and enhancing natural movement. Her favorites include curly hair, short textures, men’s cutting, children’s cuts and visionary styles.

She’s available to see you Tuesday through Saturday and late on Thursday.
