Chad is our token Leo. After ten years at the Giuseppe Franco Salon in Beverly Hills, CA., Los Angeles native Chad Gunn packed up his color brushes and headed to Texas. He sought to bring his Hollywood style to the masses of the Big D. Now nine years later, he is sought out for his Balyage (hair painting) style of highlighting. As a Portfolio Artist for L’Oreal Professional and a member their Balyage team for 13 years, he is one of the few colorists in the state that can perform this technique. Additionally, he is able to straighten the most unruly of locks while completely re-texturizing your hair with the YUKO Thermal Reconditioning System.

Chad is also known for his exceptionally distinctive blow dry style-outs. “I use a brush and a blow dryer and that’s it. Blow drying gives the hair a flow you just can’t get with an iron.” Book Chad for a style out when you just need a ‘good hair’ day!

Chad came to Dear Clark in July 2008. In his few years at the salon he has proven to be a mentor and master of color to the young stylists!

Chad is available Tuesday – Friday, 11am – 8pm, Saturday, from 10am – 4pm, and till 9pm on Thursday nights.
